Drop us an anchor below to share your dining preferences on Carnival Cruise Line. Whether you are a family or just big kids at heart, this is a fun way to spend a sea day breakfast. Emeril’s Bistro is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner serving New Orleans themed cuisine at a la carte prices. Perhaps one of our favorite newer additions to Carnival ships is Shaq’s Big Chicken. NBA Hall of Famer and Carnival’s Chief Fun Officer, Shaquille O’Neal, scored big with this quick service eatery located aft on the pool deck.

Carnival Paradise Restaurants Offer Flexible Dining Times – Except for Destiny MDR

Remember that ultimately, the goal is to enjoy your meals and make the most of your cruise vacation, so choose a dining time that aligns with your preferences and enhances your overall enjoyment. The casual Seafood Shack is located on the Lido deck near the new Street Eats on Carnival Celebration. This counter service restaurant is open for lunch and dinner daily varying times from 12 to 10 PM depending on the port of call. If you plan to dine at any of these Carnival Celebration restaurants, you should make reservations pre-cruise, as popular dining times do fill up quickly. Chibang was created in response to guest feedback requesting more diverse dining options. This fairly new restaurant concept features both Mexican and Chinese dishes.

She even studied abroad on Semester at Sea, sailing the world on a ship while taking courses for college and visiting 4 continents. I was expecting a larger selection, but there are plenty of other places to eat onboard that I would recommend before settling on the food in the Lido Marketplace. As its name suggests, RedFrog Rum Bar has a variety of rum-based drinks to fit a cool Caribbean vibe. On Carnival Ecstasy, the RedFrog Rum Bar was much smaller than the images I saw online for other ships. Coupled with the blasting music at the pool bar and a line forming behind me, I was frazzled trying to pick the best option. When we decided to give the Alchemy Bar a try on the first night, we were still technically in Alabama waters so we had to follow the local liquor regulations.

At the back of the buffet is the Sweet Spot, which typically has four or five cake varieties to choose from. This burger joint is reminiscent of a roadside burger shack much like the ones Guy loves to feature on his many TV shows. The experience can accommodate 16 diners, and children 12 and older are permitted, though they'll drink soft drinks rather than wine. (There's no discount for kids.) Sign-up is required, and the earlier the better, as the exclusive experience tends to sell out. Unfortunately, the Piano Bar earns a lower ranking on my list because it was very small on the Carnival Ecstasy. There simply wasn’t enough seating for everyone who wanted to enjoy the fun and listen to the music.

Comfort Kitchen (called Good Eats for dinner), located near the main entrance, offers a variety of pasta, meat and fish options. Near the back of the buffet is a section called, on a rotating basis, Caribbean Favorites, Italian Favorites and American Favorites. In addition to dinner, breakfast and lunch are also served in Southern Lights, and seating is open. Early eaters have a wide range of options, from cereals and baked goods to such hot entrees as omelets and pancakes. Choose from breakfast sides like sausage, bacon and hash browns as well.

Onboard Communication

This American steakhouse has a warm and inviting atmosphere with an open concept kitchen, making it a great choice for an elegant night dinner. Debuting on Carnival Mardi Gras, chef Emeril Lagasse’s restaurant makes a return on Carnival Celebration. This new and improved rendition, Emeril’s Bistro 1397, is located in the new Gateway zone. This is a popular spot on Carnival Celebration so don’t be surprised to find a line most times during the day.

It was too packed to try and get a drink, so we didn’t stay long. The room was also covered in neon signs, yet the lights were on, which I didn’t love. Service was a little bit slow, but the pizza was hot and fresh. The crust was pretty thin and crispy, and we both would have preferred a little more on the toppings. Perhaps the giant bag of Napoli flour in plain sight behind the counter had my expectations a bit high. My sister and I tried Pizza Pirate on the last day of our cruise and we wanted to sample the prosciutto pizza and the garlic cheese pizza.

The bartenders were full of energy and very attentive as we listened to the pool deck music blast through the speakers. My burger tasted freshly made and of high-quality, something I’d find at a restaurant. It was definitely higher quality than anything you'd find at a fast food restaurant. The fries were nicely seasoned too, although not as hot as I’d like them.

Planning ahead, communicating your needs, and being flexible when necessary will contribute to a memorable and enjoyable dining experience throughout your cruise. These factors will vary depending on your preferences and the specific details of your cruise itinerary. It’s important to weigh these considerations and choose a dining time that suits your needs, allowing you to enjoy your meals and the various activities on offer during your cruise. Enjoy fragrant and flavorful dishes from the various regions of China. Savor starters such as slow-braised pork belly, pot stickers and spring rolls.

Take a big juicy bite of one of the best burgers at sea, brought to you by none other than celebrity chef Guy Fieri. For breakfast (6 to 10 AM), you can choose from fruit, cereal, continental pastry items, and yogurt for no additional cost as well as breakfast sandwiches for around $5. Room service is available 24 hours a day with select complimentary items and other items that are available for an up-charge at a la carte pricing. This venue also serves lobster on one of Carnival’s elegant nights. During our sailing, “lobster night” was the first elegant night; however, Carnival has indicated that this will be changing to the second elegant night in the near future. The Java Blue Cafe is your dedicated coffee shop on Carnival Celebration.

From Mexican favorites at BlueIguana Cantina, to burgers at Guy’s Burger Joint, to chicken sandwiches at Shaq’s Big Chicken, there are plenty of tasty options that won’t cost you anything. Attached to the salad bar, the chef at the deli prepares Reubens, corned beef, turkey sandwiches and other favorites that can be pressed on the grill. The quality and variety of food in the main dining room is good; the lobster, in particular, got first-rate reviews from diners (many of whom had more than one lobster tail). Waiters asked every night how the food was, whether it had been cooked well enough and if the temperature was okay. Dinner menus are the same in both restaurants and consist of "everyday" options, as well as daily selections that change nightly. With almost all of the dining venues onboard Carnival Conquest included in the cruise fares, passengers will find just a handful of culinary options with surcharges.

Located in the new Celebration Central zone, this venue opens at 6 AM most mornings for cruisers to get their caffeine fix. Serving espresso-based beverages and milk shakes that are included in the Cheers drink package, you might find yourself visiting this cafe quite a bit. We are back from a cruise on Carnival's newest ship and have put together this complete Carnival Celebration Restaurants Guide with menus. Carnival is known for a "good grub" approach to dining, and Carnival Magic lives up to the reputation. Food is tasty, not fancy -- and there's plenty of free choices, particularly at lunch; you won't have to shell out extra money to appease picky eaters.

I also enjoyed my ham and cheese sandwich, in which I chose to swap mustard for mayo. It was made to order and served on two big slices of fresh bread. This was one of my favorite spots last time I cruised; so, on our first sea day, I decided to have this for lunch. The small tacos, served on flour tortillas, reminded me of street tacos. The toppings bar had tons of options, although it was a little messy and picked over.

You’ll find a salad station, dessert station, hot entrees section, cold cuts selection, and more. In comparison to other cruise lines, the offerings are more limited in the buffet; this is likely because there is so much else to eat around the ship. Festivale is the larger of Carnival Celebration’s two main dining rooms.

Then the group will savor an exclusive full-service dinner of incredible appetizers, entrées and desserts all hosted by the Master Executive Chef. Join the Cat and the Hat for an fun breakfast feast that the kids will really enjoy. Pancake stacks, French toast and a host of other breakfast favorites will please the entire family.

The 12-hour french toast had crispy, caramelized edges, topped with roasted peaches; it was packed with flavor. My sister and I both agreed it was probably the best french toast we’ve ever had in my life. We went back for a second time on the last sea day and each ordered our own plate to savor its goodness. As you might expect, the menu is heavy on seafood with mussels, scallops, shrimp, oysters, calamari, and lobster all on the menu. For non-seafood lovers, you have a choice of chicken, a pork chop, or a NY strip.
